Tues.    5/11 W - Wear Watches - We will make watches at school.
Wed.    5/12 V - Valentines - We will be making valentines at school.
Thur     5/13 U - Underwater - We will be reading stories and creating
 pictures.
Fri.     5/14 T - Toy Day - Everyone may bring one toy to school - 
please label.
Mon.     5/17 S - Silly Snakes - We will have snake stories and crafts
Tues     5/18 R - Rainbows - We will wear our favorite color.
Wed.    5/19 Q - Quilt - We will be making a class quilt
Thurs.  5/20 P - Pajama day - We will wear your PJs to school
Fri.     5/21 O - Opposite Day - We will wear our shirts backwards and we
 will be following a reverse schedule.
Mon     5/24 N - New Names - Everyone will get to pick a new name. 
Tues     5/25 M - Mickey Mouse - We will wear Mickey Mouse/Disney.
Wed     5/26 L - Lemon Day - We will make lemonade.
Thur     5/27 K - Kindness Day - We will be doing acts of kindness 
around the school.
Frid     5/28 J - Joke Day - Please bring a joke to share with the class.
Tues       6/1 I - Insect Day - crafts and stories
Wed.     6/2 H - Hat Day - We will wear funny hats to school.
Thurs    6/3 G - Games Day - We will be playing some of our 
    favorite games.

                                         Kiwanis Park

You ask lots of questions because you want to learn more about anything and everything Alphabet Countdown -  We are counting backwards using the alphabet to the last day of school.  Please see the list of activities on the back.	Extra Curricular: I have told the children that I would like to come see them in their extracurriculars.  If your child is involved in activities outside of school please send me a schedule and I will try to come see their games/performances. Spelling Words: jam, bad, quit, yet, quip, quill   Sight Words:  good Social Studies -  Solving  Social Problems Science -life cycles of ladybugs and frogs Math - Addition and Subtraction facts. REMINDERS: Computers to school each day: fully charged and leave charge cord at home. Labeled water bottle daily Check folder daily. Backpacks Should be checked and cleaned out daily No toys or extra items in backpacks. Please no little gifts for other students. Thank you for all of your donations! May/June Show and tell - Family Pictures

We have been talking about how we are connected with each other.  Help your child to select pictures of their family that they would like to share with the group.  These can be physical printed photos or photos that are emailed to me to share via the computer screen.  In addition to the photos, it would be nice if you and your child could draw and color the family tree (that will be sent home the night before together to share with the class on their leader day.
