Important Dates Wed 10/7 - LATE START                    Count Day Wed 10/14 LATE START Thur 10/15 - Half Day - Dismiss 12:24                       P/T Conferences Fri 10/16 - Half Day - Dismiss 12:24 Mon 10/19 - No School Wed 10/21 - LATE START Fri 10/23 - Picture Retakes Fri 10/30 - Halloween Celebration	Daily Folder - Continue to check daily Lunch - Children are doing well with their lunch routine and continue to send with easy to open lunches. Meal Magic - You can preorder lunches.  Right now school breakfast and lunches are free to all students. Water Bottle and Afternoon snack - I still have some students that do not bring water bottles every day.  I do not have any alternatives as the drinking fountains are closed.  It is very important. Illnesses - Please call office and email me to report your child’s absences and symptoms they are experiencing.
Homework Please help your child complete their monthly homework calendar.  Your child will receive a prize from our treasure chest when his/her form is returned to school with your signature. This homework is not mandatory but  can be used to reinforce what we learn in class.   Halloween Friday October 30th   2:30-3:30 Our party will be the last hour of school.   The children may wear their costumes to school. We recommend a simple costume since it will be worn all day (to recess, lunch, art etc).  Please label all the pieces of your child’s costume. Costumes should not be scary for the other children..  No weapons are allowed at school.	Parent Teacher Conferences Dates The district holds conferences in the month of October and November.  This year, I will be scheduling Parent teacher conferences in October and November.  We will meet virtually via google meets for ten minutes each month to touch base and answer any questions you might have and give a brief discussion of how your student is doing.  Sign Up will go home on Friday of this week for times to meet virtually on Oct 15/16.
